Behind Tasha’s Art Nook
Tasha’s Art Nook is my little creative space for sharing the art I love to create. My main focus is currently hand-painted silicone reborn dolls, with each baby individually painted and finished by hand.
Because every doll is created entirely by hand, no two babies will ever be exactly alike. I want each finished piece to feel like an individual work of art that can be treasured by its collector for years to come.
My Approach to Reborn Art
For me, the appeal of silicone reborn art is in the tiny details. I enjoy slowly building colour and depth, painting delicate features such as veins, mottling, lips, nails and little toes, before completing each baby with careful finishing and, where applicable, individually rooted hair and eyelashes.
My aim is not simply to make every doll look the same, but to work with the individual sculpt and create a believable, softly detailed finished baby with its own character.
Training & Development
Developing my skills as an artist is very important to me, and I continue to learn, experiment and refine my techniques with every doll I create.
Silicone Painting
I have completed both the Comprehensive and Advanced Silicone Painting Courses with Susan Gibbs, studying a range of painting techniques, skin tones and detailed finishing methods.
Hair Rooting
I have also completed professional rooting training with Lizbeth, helping me further develop my techniques for creating soft, natural-looking rooted hair.

Authentic Silicone Sculpts
I work exclusively with authentic silicone sculpts and will never knowingly use counterfeit, copied or unauthorised kits. Supporting the original sculptors and artists behind the dolls is an important part of how I approach my work.
More Than Reborn Art
While silicone reborns are currently at the heart of Tasha’s Art Nook, my interests extend beyond doll artistry. As the Nook grows, I also plan to use this space to share some of my other artwork, including canvas painting and digital art.
Tasha’s Art Nook is simply my little corner for creating, experimenting and sharing the artwork I enjoy making.
