Sage

Partial Silicone Reborn

Sage is a partial platinum silicone reborn with full silicone arms, legs and head, paired with a high-quality beige cloth body. She was hand-painted by me at Tasha’s Art Nook using layered silicone pigments to build depth, realism and soft newborn colouring.

About Sage

Sage was painted in multiple layers of silicone pigment to create nuanced mottling, blushing, veining, painted creases and delicately tipped nails. Subtle lunula details were added to selected nails, along with soft veining across her head, arms and legs.

She has light blushing across her cheeks, knees and elbows, rosy lips and toes, and rooted brown eyelashes. Sage remained bald, allowing the painted detail and subtle veining across her head to remain visible.

Her mouth was opened to allow her to take a dummy. The modification was intended for functionality rather than detailed sculpting or painting inside the mouth.

Artist Notes

Sage was created in a smoke-free environment. As a completely hand-painted collector’s art doll, small variations and imperfections may be present and form part of the handmade nature of the piece.
